Rev. Carrington Moore is a passionate thought leader who has made a significant impact across the country in areas such as leadership cultivation, workforce development, youth engagement, and educational equity. He has led numerous collective impact initiatives throughout the greater Boston community, dedicated to creating equity within institutions and systems, building sustainable vocational pathways, and increasing college access.
As the Assistant Pastor of Discipleship at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Boston, Massachusetts, Rev. Carrington is a vital member of the community. He has also taken on the role of host for the Bethel Uplift Podcast, providing a platform for important conversations and thought-provoking discussions on relevant topics. Additionally, he leads Wednesday Night Bible Institute Bible studies, helping to cultivate a deeper understanding of faith and scripture.
In addition to his work at Bethel, Rev. Carrington serves as the Executive Director of Common Cathedral in Boston. In this role, he continues to demonstrate his commitment to creating positive change in the community, working tirelessly to improve the lives of those in need.
Rev. Carrington earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Youngstown State University, where he double-majored in political science and philosophy. He then went on to earn his Master of Divinity from Boston University School of Theology, becoming an ordained Baptist minister.
Prior to his role at Bethel and Common Cathedral, Rev. Carrington served as the founding Director of Community Organizing at King Boston, where he left a lasting legacy. He is a proud native of Youngstown, Ohio, and continues to make a positive impact in his community and beyond.
