Tanya Miller
Director of Generation Now
Meet Pastor Tanya, a proud Brooklyn native who has spent most of her adult life in Boston. With over 15 years of experience working in social services, Tanya's career has spanned the fields of higher education, social work, therapy, and ministry. Her call to ministry took place at an overnight summer camp when she was in her late teens, and she has been pursuing that calling ever since. Tanya's diverse background includes working as an administrative assistant at her home church, singing and dancing with T.R.U.C.E, an evangelistic Hip Hop group under Nicky Cruz Ministry, serving as a Resident Director at Eastern Nazarene College, obtaining a Masters' degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and working several years as an in-home therapist. Tanya is a personable minister who is passionate about connecting people with God and encouraging believers to live out their faith. She believes her calling is to cultivate spaces where young people and families can encounter God, be their authentic selves, and live out love loudly, which she sees as the essence of the Christian faith. Tanya is pursuing ordination in the AME Church and is committed to creating welcoming and inclusive environments where all individuals can grow in their faith.
