About the Access Ministry
At Bethel AME Church, we believe every person is made in the image of God and deserves the opportunity to worship, grow, and belong—without barriers. Our Access Ministry exists to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals with disabilities and special needs. Whether you join us in person or online, we are committed to ensuring that everyone can fully participate in the life of our church. We offer live American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation during every Sunday service, both in the sanctuary and on our livestream—an essential part of our worship experience. We also provide a range of accommodations and one-on-one support, including sensory-friendly seating, mobility assistance, and personalized care as needed.
