Allied Health Ministry

Whole-Person Wellness. Faith in Action.

At Bethel, we believe healing isn’t just physical — it’s spiritual, emotional, and communal. The Allied Health Ministry exists to promote health equity and wholeness through a unique blend of care, education, and support rooted in faith.

We offer:

  • Blood pressure screenings during and after worship
  • CPR training for youth and families
  • Health workshops on topics like heart health, menopause, fibroids, and cancer recovery
  • Collaborations with trusted partners like Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
  • Healing services rooted in biblical practices, in partnership with our Prayer Ministry

Whether supporting people on their wellness journeys or responding to health emergencies in real time, our team is here to care — body, mind, and spirit.

Accessible. Compassionate. Community-Driven.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all care. Through community surveys, personal outreach, and ongoing partnerships, we listen first — then respond with programs that reflect the needs of our congregation.

Our work is guided by one simple question:
How can we love people better through wellness?

We’re building a culture where health isn’t a separate ministry — it’s woven into how we serve, worship, and live. Whether you’re a licensed professional or simply passionate about caring for others, there’s room to serve and grow here.

Food Insecurity Panel (Recap)
In partnership with the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, we hosted a dynamic panel to explore the roots of food insecurity and the role churches can play in meeting both immediate and systemic needs.

This brief, informative video helped our congregation better understand what A1C is, why it matters, and how early screening can support long-term wellness.

In partnership with the Prospera Institute, Bethel hosted a health equity symposium to confront disparities, uplift community-based solutions, and center the role of faith institutions in driving change.
