Welcome Women of Bethel

The Women’s Ministry of Bethel AME Church exists to nurture, encourage, and empower women as they grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and live fully into who God has created them to be. We believe every woman carries a sacred story, a God-given purpose, and a place in the life of the church. Through worship, fellowship, prayer, study, service, and honest conversation, we create spaces where women can be spiritually renewed, personally strengthened, and deeply connected to one another.

Whether you are a longtime member of Bethel, new to our community, returning after time away, or simply seeking a place of encouragement and belonging, there is room for you here.

Our Purpose

Bethel’s Women’s Ministry is committed to supporting women in every season of life. Our gatherings and initiatives are designed to help women:
  • Grow deeper in their relationship with God
  • Build authentic sisterhood and intergenerational connection
  • Care for their spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical wellness
  • Discover and embrace their gifts
  • Serve the church and wider community with compassion and purpose
  • Walk boldly as the women God has called them to be

A Ministry for Every Season

Women carry many roles, responsibilities, joys, and burdens. This ministry honors the fullness of women’s lives and creates space for renewal, reflection, celebration, and support.

Through conferences, small gatherings, workshops, prayer experiences, service opportunities, and moments of fellowship, we seek to meet women where they are while encouraging them toward where God is leading.

Bethel’s Women’s Ministry is preparing for meaningful opportunities to reconnect, renew, and grow together, including the Significant Women’s Reunion and the Women’s Conference. These gatherings will center faith, wellness, purpose, and sisterhood as we continue becoming the women God created us to be — spiritually, physically, mentally, and in relationship with one another.
