Baptism at Bethel 

At Bethel, we emphasize water baptism as a sacred, biblical act of faith — a public declaration of one’s decision to follow Jesus. We believe it is commanded by God, modeled by Christ, and a powerful step in the life of every believer.

We baptize by sprinkling and pouring, in accordance with the AME tradition. While we primarily baptize youth and adults making a personal commitment to Christ, we also offer infant baptism and prayer ceremonies (dedications) for families seeking to bless their children and commit them to God.
