Aging Gracefully: Embracing Change

MORNING CONCURRENT SESSION

10:30 AM - 11:45 AM

Nobody prepared us for this part. All of a sudden out of the blue, you're comparing notes on hot flashes, reading menus with your phone flashlight, and wondering why you walked into a room. And that's just before lunch! Aging is about so much more than getting older, hey, we do it every day. It's navigating changing bodies, changing relationships, changing priorities, and sometimes a changing sense of who we are. It's also about confronting issues: What is my purpose now? How do I stay vibrant, engaged, and connected? How do I deal with loss, change, and the unsettling feeling that the world no longer needs me in the same way it once did? This session is an honest, humorous, and encouraging conversation about embracing every season of life with wisdom, grace, and a healthy dose of laughter. We'll talk about the physical realities no one warned us about, the emotional shifts that catch us off guard, and the spiritual opportunities that come with growing older. Because aging isn't the end of your story. It's simply the beginning of a chapter that can be richer, freer, wiser, and more meaningful than any chapter that came before it. Embracing all the things with grace. Putting on the your girl panties and keep moving: It's a mindset.
